Yes! This project is collaborative. Even if you aren’t paired one-to-one as a writer and artist, you’ll still be working alongside other contributors to help create cohesive storytelling across the project.What does the timeline look like? How much time will we have?
Our creative schedule is available in the info doc for reference. The current timeline is a rough estimate and may shift as needed to make sure everyone has enough time to comfortably complete their pieces.Really really not a fan of the trend of invite-only contributors, so this turning into invite-only instead of having open applications is my only concern.
A totally understandable concern — this project isn’t invite-only. Invites are limited to one per mod, and most contributor spots are filled through open applications.We’re looking for people who are excited to create together, and over 90 percent of spots are still open.I’m really excited for this bc I know since this mod team is lesser known, there is a bigger chance for newer artists in the fandom to be included!

Lance will have his Altean marks in this zine. It is set post-canon, after the battle — but don’t let his marks fool you. Allura is alive and well. After her kiss to Lance, the Lions sense her sacrifice and intervene, taking her place instead. Lance and Allura later part ways amicably. Both Allura and Adam are alive and attending the wedding. Adam attends with Shiro.Will contributors have to purchase the zine?
No, all contributors will be given a full zine bundle for their efforts in helping make this zine come to life, as well as any additional stretch goals we may unlock.Will this be shipped worldwide or uploaded somewhere that does ship worldwide?
This zine and its merch will be shipped worldwide from the United States to anywhere the United States can ship to. All purchases will be shipped by our shipping moderator and not uploaded to websites outside of our own shop so we can ensure quality of the product.What if this is my first zine?
That’s OK! We encourage anyone to apply because you never know unless you try. While we will be looking for skillsets to convey our wanted vibe, we want a good amount of variety as well. First zine, hundredth zine, or your last zine — we can’t wait to see you there in applications.How much freedom will there be?
While we do have an overall storyline and some details that need to be followed, we’ve intentionally left many others open for contributors to help decide. We didn’t want artists or writers to feel too constrained by the storyline, so rest assured you’ll have creative freedom to help bring these scenes to life.Think of it like helping us plan the wedding: what does the seating look like? What will the paladins wear? What do the centrepieces look like? These details are up to the creatives involved and will be shared across pieces as needed to maintain continuity.
